Aural Skills
The art of music is expressed through sound. Aural skills are therefore of primary importance in developing knowledge and skills in music through the band and choral program. Aural skills are developed in two general areas:
* Perception- those abilities which involve the recognition and basic understanding of what is heard
* Inner Hearing- the ability to imagine or hear in one's head what is on the printed page
The competency of aural skills is assessed as follows:

Tests
The following tests are to be practiced in class and at home and the best score is to be submitted for your musician profile by the assigned dates
THese excercises all require listening, therefore you will need to plug headphones into your computer in order to complete them
